Grateful For The Things He Has Done!

In times of tragedy,  you are so distraught.   You can hardly figure out which way is up, or which direction to take. There is so much confusion! So many people, Lack of sleep, the mind is constantly replaying incidents that occured prior to the death of your loved one.  You might just simply want the pain to go away.  If not careful, you to, will begin to think maybe death is the only answer. Know that God is the answer, even though you might be angry and feel the need to turn your back on God. The scripture says; Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall not eat the fruit thereof.

Because you have so many emotions going on, all at once. You display signs of anger, confusion, a sense of emptiness because of not knowing,  stress and unbearable pain.  A pain so deep, you think to your self, how could you ever get over the death of a loved one?  Is it even possible? It is possible!  the scriptures says ” you can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” Philippines 4:13

Anger:  In your anger you question God as to why he would allow such a thing to happen?  You continually beat your self up. As well as question God’s love.  Ephesians 26:31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

James 1:19-20. My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.  Because human anger does not produce  the righteousness that God desires.

It is said that over 70 percent of Americans experience physical or psychological stress due to loss of a loved one, financial, health,  work, and other major life style changes.

I am grateful for the things He has done! My strength lies in God. He holds me and provides all my needs.  “God has commanded us to be strong and courageous.  Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: Don’t allow grief, or stress to derail your relationship with God.  Biblical principles/scriptures  helps to refocus our attention to God.  Do not be afraid to ask family, friends or co-workers for help. Resist the urge to walk away from God.  Meditate on the scriptures  and invite the Holy Spirit to work on your heart.
