Waging War and Overcoming Spiritual Warfare

Waging War Against The Adversary and How To Overcome Spiritual Warfare. The Fight Of Your Life!

The expulsion of Satan and all the fallen angels from heaven according to the scriptures marked the beginning of a spiritual warfare. A line of battle was drawn between the kingdom of God, and the kingdom of Satan and reconciliation was out of the picture. We became the ultimate target of satanic plots to rob us of the divine privileges and benefits he once enjoyed. The important thing to know as you’ll see here in this article is that we’ve been equipped to wage war and win over any spiritual conflict that contradicts God’s will in our lives.

Since man sinned against God and was driven out of the Garden of Eden as the scripture says, the devil has waged a spiritual war. The nature of sin in us is evidence of the struggle between the divine and the natural, righteousness and transgression, good and evil. These forces have produced a world that is spiritually malfunctioned. In every war, there is a quest for victory, rulership, and ownership. That is why Satan contends with God over the souls of humanity.

Let’s briefly look at the nature of spiritual warfare:
1. It’s between God and Satan
2. It’s between right and wrong
3. It involves man and demonic entities
4. It begins in the spiritual realm then manifests in the natural realm
5. There are casualties left behind
6. It’s a constant, unending battle
When you have the knowledge of the nature of the battle, you’re better equipped to fight back wisely. Below you will find the weapons of how to wage war and overcome spiritual warfare.

The Name of Jesus
God has invested himself in the name of Jesus; therefore, everything in heaven, on the earth and beneath the earth are subject to that name. When this name is invoked or called in faith over demonic activities, amazing things happen. For decades, I’ve witnessed awesome victories over all types of situations, through the name of Jesus. When you call on this name, be in the spirit of expectations and encouragement, and God will come through for you.

Maintain a Life of Righteousness and Holiness
Satan cannot wage war or stand in the face of a person who has a right standing with God. He can’t penetrate our heart because righteousness is a guard to our heart. We read this in the scripture, “Keep thine heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).
Stand Steadfast on Scriptural Truth
Don’t be shaken in your spirit through all the opinions and thoughts that the devil will employ to confuse you. Hold to the truth, let it be the skirt that covers your nakedness and shelters you from the rain of falsehood. You can overcome spiritual warfare with your loins brace up with truth.

Have faith in God
Your faith is a shield to diffuse every evil work against you. It’s your weapon with dual benefits, for offense and defense. This is one mighty shield of winning over spiritual warfare.

Be Clear of your salvation
You’ll become a piece of bread to Satan if you’ve not made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life. Our salvation is the helmet which protects us from the condemnation that wars in our minds through the evil manipulation of Satan.

Live in peace by the grace of God
Peace is our footprint created by the gospel that we preach. Satan wins where there is hatred, strife, and contention but loses where peace reigns.

The word of God
God’s word is spirit and life. It’s quick and powerful when released by faith. The word of God is settled forever, so you can depend upon it. He will watch his word to perform it for your good.

Prayer and Fasting
If you live a constant prayer life, Satan can’t stand you. Fasting is the added fuel to prayer, and these two will certainly make you an overcomer. The bible implies that we’re to pray always.

You can win over spiritual warfare if you take heed and apply the following weapons against all that Satan will bring your way. It’s written, “For the weapon of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the putting down of strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 11: 4) Be strong in the Lord, and the power of the Holy Spirit that works mightily in you. He has called you to win, so hold boldly to your line of battle and victory is guaranteed.
