Isaiah 43:18-19 “Remember ye, not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.”
One of the best things about the gift of salvation is, “new beginnings.” Simple but powerful words, however, the simplicity of salvation has made many to ignore the benefits that come with it. A lot of Christians today still hold on to their past mistakes. They feel they deserve every negative experience that is happening to them. Therefore they don’t ask God for help. Whatever you are experiencing today is not because of your mistakes, no! It is because of your ignorance of the truth (Hosea 4:6)
Salvation is more than having your name in the Lambs book of life; it is the solution to all life’s challenges. In the kingdom of God, you cannot have what you can’t see. Until Abraham saw, he could not be the father of many nations today. Abraham had to look for himself before he receive his desires. God is not responsible for what we see, but He has made the provision for us. It is our responsibility to see what is set before us and embrace it.(Genesis 13:14) It is also incumbent to seek a new beginning for you, today. No one can do this for you. It gives you a sense of freshness to know that you are new again. Embark on the newness of a fulfilled life in Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. When God said ALL, He meant All. You are born again, not to suffer again. Do not let the past stop you from achieving God’s plan and his purpose for you. He said; remember not the former things because He wants to do new things in your life.
Hindrances of creating new beginnings:
Fear of the unknown; Some people are tied down, not because they are incapable of starting new. Maybe because they have allowed the deadly “what if’s” to stop them from actualizing their goals. The difference between the old and the new you is, JESUS CHRIST. You are not alone, you have the ever winning partner, so it is impossible to fail. Matthew 19:26.
Fear of little beginnings: It is okay to start small; the Bible says “do not despise the days of new beginnings…” Zechariah 4:10. Every great man and woman today started from scratch. Job 8:7 “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.”
What is the solution to conquering fear?
Love is all you need to conquer your fears; 1 John 4:18 – There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
When the love of God richly dwells in you, fear automatically flees from you. God loves you too much to see you fail. You have to believe in the blessedness of God’s love. Discover God’s love over and over again through his word, as well as communicating with him through prayer. With life’s busy schedule, set aside time and plan to spend some intimate with God. Continuing to do this will open up more opportunities for a new beginning for you, today.
Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” The question now is, what are your expectations? Remember, you are what you think. That is why Apostle Paul admonishes us to think good thoughts. “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” – Philippians 4:8
You will begin to realize that “A New Beginning For You, Today” is right at your finger tips. It will require praying, meditation, reading God’s word, and living a life of righteousness on your part. Once you have taking the steps to a new beginning, you will ultimately see and feel a difference within your life. There is no special strategy, it just means you simply doing those things listed in the above article. Not shortly after, results will come your way. Again a reminder me of the scripture in 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.
I find it very helpful to write positive quotes down, to repeat them as often as it takes. To pray a prayer to God asking for new beginnings not just for me, but others as well. Especially if I know they are receptive to the thought of having a new beginning, for the possibility of even being open to new beginnings. This act of getting rid of the old and putting on the new is exciting. Allow no one to make you feel different. In Christ, many times we live beneath our privileges, but the bible informs us that we are the head and not the tail, we are above and not beneath. Apply God’s word to your life, because knowledge without application is of no avail.
Initially there is the possibility that you might not feel different, but we as humans have the tendency to veer to the negative. Believe me when I say you will soon have groundbreaking changes in your life. If patience is a weak point for you, then you might not see results immediately. But be patient my dears. God is just and righteous enough to give you the desires of your heart. Your new beginnings are right before your eyes. For this reason I celebrate with you now! You have won the VICTORY!
ENCOURAGE YOURSELF: Welcome to your new beginning today! Embrace your new start. Because today is the day for you!
