Momo Challenge Beware!!!!

The viral challenge, called the MOMO challenge is encouraging kids to commit suicide, and providing the tools to do so. It is infiltrating kid videos.

Social media users — and particularly parents of young social media users — have also been beset by reports of highly dangerous challenges, such as those encouraging children to disappear for 72 hours or even commit suicide. But many purported “challenges” of this variety have proved to be much more the products of fevered imaginations and lurid news reporting rather than real-life phenomena.

One example of the latter variety of allegedly dangerous activities is the so-called “Momo” challenge. According to reports, the Momo challenge is supposedly a form of cyberbullying prevalent on platforms such as WhatsApp and YouTube, through which children receive anonymous threatening messages tied to pictures of “Momo,” an unrelated sculpture of a grinning figure with dark hair and bulging eyes created by a Japanese special effects company.

Parent ALERT!!! Parents I am asking you to beware, be vigilant, be prayerful, be mindful of the things your children are watching on YouTube Kids, please. Be aware of YouTube Kids!

My advice is to put a time restrictions on, monitor the children while they are watching their videos, and be selective as to which video your kids are watching. Do not allow your kids to download, or channel surf.

Many times we hand our kids a tablet just to get them out of our hair, but we must be mindful of every little thing they are doing and watching.

The creature has what seem to be a female look and voice as well, with a “V” shape mouth. This creature was terrifying even to myself. So I can only imagine what it must do to kids. The creature chants MOMO, MOMO, MOMO; “MOMO is going to kill you.”

The artist alleges that he had nothing to do with this challenge. So I say to all parents to be extra cautious concerning your precious children, and to be very active in every aspect of your kids life.

I refuse to put the video up, because I refuse to give the enemy that type of power. I refuse to allow satanic space on my blog. God bless you all, parents, and children alike. One should pray and never faint. Remember the prayers of the righteous fail not.

Encourage Yourself: I bind this challenge in the name of JESUS. I come against satan and his tactics or tricks. I plead the blood of JESUS over this evilness that would love to take control over the minds of our children. The power of God is against you. In JESUS name, AMEN

    Hi Courtney

Thanks for the follow *, as the reason I write is to share.
    * (Though my family and close friends say it would be far more entertaining with a video-camera # in “real life”, rather than in cyberspace!)

    # By the way, do they still make them in today’s ever-faster changing world..or is it all done with mobile phones?

(get with the times now,”luddite”* c – it should be a smart phone)

    * or so I was often called by my “my techno-geek” friend, Bill (“the gonk”)

“total non-techno” c (who doesn’t possess a mobile phone, after a rather eventful’ experience some years back, whilst trying to walk, talk and chew gum at the same time)

    Who says men can’t multi-task!

    Kind regards
